The service is based on high-performance Compaq Proliant servers, Microsoft Windows 2000 Server, ESRI ArcIMS 4 and Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS). Hardware is maintained in a top-tier data center in San Jose, CA. Each account receives a virtual web directory to store web pages and applications, one ArcIMS map service with 20 shape file layers, 10GB data transfer, 100MB hard disk space, complete server administration, monitoring and maintenance, managed security service, domain name service, technical support, Web statistics and weekly full backups.
